Ep 64 Apar Gupta on his fight for Internet Freedom, Net Neutrality and Privacy Protection

Today my guest is Apar Gupta. Apar Gupta is a lawyer who serves as the executive director of the Internet Freedom Foundation (IFF), a nongovernmental organization that advocates for digital rights and liberties. In 2015, Gupta and others launched SaveTheInternet.in, a public campaign that fought for net neutrality and stopped the introduction of Facebook's Free Basics initiative in India. Gupta and his team at IFF file petitions and undertake advocacy campaigns to defend online freedom, privacy, and net neutrality. I have linked Apar's works in the shownotes so please do check them out.

In today's episode, I talk to him about his early exposure to technology, successful career as a lawyer and his initiatives on net neutrality and other social causes
